Finger Salute

This post should be filed under the "bad mommy" section.

I was driving the boys to school.  There was a young girl at the cross walk waiting to cross, or so  I thought.

  I stopped the car.

She waved me through.

I shook my head and waved her on.

She shook her head and waved me on.

This went on for five or six wave-ons.

"What the heck " I said , "cross already!"

She shook her head.  

"Why are you standing there!??! "

She shrugged.

I drove through. ( a bit annoyed)

"Mom! you should have given her the finger."

"What?  Is that how I raised you!"

"pretty much"

Good Lord, now I have child-repair  to do.

I wonder how long that will take......
