There are several days in one's life that note remembering.
Birthdays, anniversaries, those sorts of things.
Friday was our 18th anniversary.
I forgot.
This is not the first time I've forgotten our anniversary but lately we get reminders from our sons who view the day as an opportunity for all of us to go out for dinner.
This year son number one is kayaking in the Gulf Islands and son number two was preoccupied with a new laptop he had just bought for himself (mowing lawns can be very profitable).
No one reminded me.
It's an easy date to remember being that it is in the last long weekend of the summer.
But still, I forgot.
Thank goodness my husband remembered. What a Guy!

I had Chicken Souvlaki, Greek Salad and Chocolate Explosion.
And a trip to the Paint Store.

LOOK AT THAT DESSERT! :) We got married 18 and a half years ago ourselves! On Christmas eve...we do not need reminders :) Congrats to you guys!
I'm so sorry. That is sad. I remember the day that we met 21 years ago and call that our Anniversary. I can't, for the life of me, remember when we tied the knot in California. Oh well! But I do know all my kid's blood types if that matters.
It really is just too much info we all have to remember. m.
